Qedexe Privacy Policy

Qedexe (“the App”) is a Kurdish (Kurmancî) word-guessing party game. This policy explains what data the App handles and what it does not collect.

1. Data we store on your device

The App stores the following information only on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage):

• Game settings (language, dark mode, sound, vibration, timers, categories, content pack)
• Team names and colors you configure
• Custom cards you create
• Recent game history and statistics (limited to the last 20 games)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the system Share sheet to share a result message you choose to send.

2. Data we do not collect

• No account or login
• No advertising identifiers for ads
• No analytics SDKs that track personal behavior
• No contacts, photos, camera, or location access
• No microphone access — the app plays bundled sound files only and declares no microphone permission on either platform
• No sale of personal data

3. Network use

The App connects to Expo’s update service (EAS Updates, operated by Expo / 650 Industries, Inc.) on launch to check for over-the-air app updates. That request necessarily discloses your IP address and app/OS version to that service, as any software update check does. No game content, settings, team names or custom cards are ever uploaded. The App makes no other network requests: no accounts, no ads, no analytics SDKs.

4. Audio and haptics

Sound effects are played from local asset files. Vibration uses the device haptics API. Neither records audio nor transmits it.

5. Children

Qedexe is a party word game suitable for general audiences. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents can disable sound/vibration and use Family mode / Family content pack for safer vocabulary filters.

6. Your choices

• Clear game history from inside the App
• Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
• Turn sound and vibration off in settings

7. Third-party services

• Expo / EAS — app builds and optional OTA updates
• Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution; their privacy policies apply to store accounts and payments

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the App changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change accordingly.
